Biography

Ashley Millet is an educator with over 16 years of experience working with students and educators from grades Pre-K-12. She has taught Kindergarten and Special Education, and has acted as an EL Specialist, Instructional Coach, Program Manager, and PD facilitator for both teachers and administrators. Ashley has participated in many special projects with the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE), the US Department of Education (DOE), and the English Language Proficiency Assessment (ELPA21). As an EL Instructional Coach, Ashley worked with New Orleans educators and Louisiana Connectors for ELs to build teacher capacity and their understanding of instructional practices and data-driven instruction to close the achievement gap for second language learners. She has ensured that educators provide high-quality instruction in classrooms through modeling, co-planning, co-teaching, and providing feedback to teachers. Ashley has a B.A. in Mass Communication with a minor in Marketing, an M.S.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction.
