Biography

Dr. Kennedy (BK) has been a multilingual educator for over thirty-five years, as a teacher of world languages and dual language/bilingual/ESL, a district administrator, a state director, and a national consultant. She is co-author of the Guiding Principles for Dual Language Education, 3rd Edition (2018) and supports Dual Language (DL) educators in designing and implementing effective DL models (one-way, two-way) across the USA. Fluent in German, Spanish, and English, BK delivers technical assistance and PD focused on instructional practices that promote bilingualism and biliteracy.
