Description

We seek transformative bilingual teacher preparation that understands identity, ideology, languages, and culture at a borderlands university. We implemented a metasynthesis integrating qualitative, quantitative, and theoretical research. Findings advance a culturally sustainable pedagogy for teacher preparation at HSIs. The metasynthesis methodology could promote understanding of other aspects of bilingual/multilingual education.
