Biography

Dr. Suzanne Abdelrahim is a consultant with REEd at UC Davis and has over 20 years of experience working with educators. Suzanne has developed and facilitated educational professional development services both nationally and internationally, including many resources related to second language learning. Suzanne also coaches teachers and teacher leaders in self-reflection and using data to drive school improvement, as well as empowers educators to improve teaching practice through professional growth. Suzanne has also worked as a research associate with the National Clearinghouse for English Language Acquisition (NCELA). During her time at NCELA, she worked with the Title III Office of the US Department of Education and gained many skills pertaining to the education of linguistically and culturally diverse learners.
