Peng Zhao is a skilled and passionate native Chinese speaker with extensive experience in developing Mandarin Elementary curriculum. With a focus on capturing student interest and engagement, Peng Zhao has excelled in teaching IB Mandarin and foreign language Mandarin programs and immersion for the past 15 years. Utilizing hands-on activities, field trips, special lectures, and technological tools, Peng Zhao has successfully driven language understanding and retention. Their expertise includes classroom management, pronunciation and grammar instruction, and student performance evaluation. Peng Zhao is applying differentiated teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and foster success. Peng Zhao is creating personalized education plans that stimulate students' enjoyment and appreciation for the mandarin language. She also incorporates various aspects of Chinese culture, such as cooking, holidays, art, and current events, into classroom lessons.
