How to Achieve the 4 Goals of Dual Language Bilingual Education
The four goals of dual language bilingual education are academic achievement, bilingualism/biliteracy, sociocultural competence, and critical consciousness. This presentation will explain each of the goals, show what research says about them, and explain how to effectively achieve each goal from an equity-based perspective. The presentation will also acknowledge different types of obstacles and barriers, while providing solutions to successfully reach each of the goals.
