Description

This presentation focuses on interdisciplinary practices that foster curiosity and promote the development of bilingual literacy rooted in the linguistic richness of students' identities. Participants examine the connections between math, science, and literacy practices to enhance understanding of how to develop the habits of mind that lead to the growth of multilingual and multicultural identity together with disciplinary knowledge. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is explored to identify themes and activities that cut across academic disciplines. Handouts are provided to support the interdisciplinary planning including AI samples and guidelines.
