Biography

George has been in the field of language learning for over 15 years. He is a staunch unionist, and is a fierce fighter for his English language learners. He has had many rules over the years. George has taught all grades from K to 12, has been an ENL coordinator, a model teacher, and a peer collaborative teacher. He has also utilized his various roles in his union to help advocate for bilingual education, and necessary improvements to the lives of his English language learners. He is his local school building's union representative, founding member of his union's ELL task force, and an elected member of the United Federation of Teachers executive board. George is a tireless advocate for those he serves.
