Description
Educators and institutions at the Pre-K-20 levels play a critical role in creating thriving communities and safe learning environments free from the threat of deportation. The Trump administration has drastically altered immigration enforcement in the United States. This forum will examine the increasing threat of the mass deportation agenda and the harmful consequences for children, families, and communities. Join us for a critical discussion on what organizations and public schools and universities are doing to keep these learning spaces free from education disruption and displacement. Learn about the state of play of DACA and immigration policy, innovative practices and resources to support students in your school/universities and push for immigrant inclusive policies at the local level.
