English Language Learners and Bilingual Education has always been a passion of mine. Throughout my years of teaching, I have K-12 experience in Dual Language programs, Transitional Bilingual Education programs, and ELL programs. I also taught as a Spanish teacher, allowing me to see how the world language curriculum connects to ELLs. I recently transitioned into a Coordinator position where I am developing a Dual Language program from the bottom up. On a personal level, I am a mom to a beautiful 5 year old girl, two dogs and a cat. I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing video games, and ballroom dancing. Fun fact: I am the only person who speaks Spanish in my immediate and extended family! I can't wait to teach my daughter.
